SEEDS OF LEARNING GRANT

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Grant Name: Seeds of Learning Grant

Total Grant Pool: Php 20,000 per cycle
 

Target Beneficiaries: Grade 3 to 6 students in Antipolo, Rizal and surrounding communities

SECTION 1 - ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
 

To be eligible for the Seeds of Learning Grant an applicant must meet ALL of the following criteria:


1.1 Academic Eligibility
•    Currently enrolled in Grade 3, 4, 5, or 6 in a recognized public or private elementary school
•    Must be enrolled for the current school year 2026 to 2027
•    Must be in good academic standing as evidenced by their most recent report card

 

1.2 Residency Requirement
•    Must reside in Antipolo, Rizal or surrounding barangays and municipalities
•    Proof of residency may be requested during the vetting process

 

1.3 Financial Need Requirement
•    Applicant's family must demonstrate financial need
•    Financial need is assessed based on information provided in the application form and supporting documents submitted during the vetting process
•    Determination of financial need is at the sole discretion of the Dator Youth Initiative organizing team

 

1.4 Other Requirements
•    Applicant must complete the online application form in full at www.roandator.com
•    Applicant must be willing to submit supporting documents upon request
•    Applicant and parent or guardian must agree to the terms and conditions of the grant program

 

SECTION 2 - APPLICATION PROCESS
 

2.1 How to Apply
•    Complete the online application form at www.roandator.com
•    All fields must be completed accurately and honestly
•    Applications may be completed in English or Filipino
•    A parent or guardian may assist the applicant in completing the form


2.2 Required Information
The application form will collect the following information:
•    Applicant full name and date of birth
•    Home address including barangay and municipality
•    Current grade level and school name
•    Parent or guardian name, occupation, and contact information
•    Monthly household income estimate
•    Number of siblings currently enrolled in school
•    Responses to essay questions about educational goals and financial need

 

2.3 Application Deadline
•    Cycle 1 deadline: July 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM Philippine Standard Time
•    Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances
•    The Dator Youth Initiative reserves the right to extend the deadline at its sole discretion

 

2.4 Application Acknowledgment
•    All applicants will receive an automatic email confirmation upon submission
•    Receipt of confirmation does not guarantee selection or shortlisting

 

SECTION 3 - VETTING AND SELECTION PROCESS
 

3.1 Initial Review
Upon the close of applications the Dator Youth Initiative organizing team will:
•    Review all submitted applications for completeness and eligibility
•    Disqualify any applications that do not meet the eligibility requirements
•    Disqualify any applications that contain false or misleading information

 

3.2 Shortlisting
•    The organizing team will shortlist a pool of qualified candidates for further review
•    Shortlisted applicants will be contacted via email or phone as provided in their application
•    Shortlisted applicants will be required to submit: Report Card from the previous school year and Certificate of Enrollment for the current school year
•    Any additional documents requested by the organizing team must be submitted within the specified deadline

 

3.3 Document Verification
•    All submitted documents will be reviewed and verified for authenticity and accuracy
•    The organizing team reserves the right to contact the applicant's school to verify enrollment and academic standing
•    Applications with incomplete, falsified, or unverifiable documents will be disqualified

 

3.4 Final Selection
•    The final selection of four recipients will be made by the Dator Youth Initiative organizing team
•    Selection is based on demonstrated financial need, academic standing, and commitment to education
•    The decision of the organizing team is final and binding
•    No appeals or reconsiderations will be entertained once the final selection is made
•    The organizing team is not obligated to disclose the reasons for selection or non-selection to any applicant

 

3.5 Notification of Recipients
•    Selected recipients will be notified via email and phone as provided in their application
•    Recipients will be given a specified deadline to confirm their acceptance of the grant
•    If a selected recipient does not confirm acceptance within the specified deadline the organizing team reserves the right to select an alternate recipient

 

SECTION 4 - GRANT DISBURSEMENT
 

4.1 Amount
•    Each selected recipient will receive a one time grant of Php 5,000
•    The grant is non-renewable for the same cycle
•    Recipients may apply again in future cycles

 

4.2 Purpose
•    The grant is intended to assist with school supplies and tuition expenses for the current school year
•   The grant is given in good faith and the Dator Youth Initiative does not monitor or control how the funds are spent after disbursement
•    Recipients and their families are encouraged to use the funds responsibly for educational purposes

 

4.3 Disbursement Method
•    The grant will be disbursed via bank transfer, or such other method as determined by the organizing team
•    Recipients or their parent or guardian will be required to provide valid payment details for disbursement
•    The organizing team will confirm receipt of funds with the recipient

 

4.4 Taxes
•    The Dator Youth Initiative is not responsible for any tax implications that may arise from receipt of the grant
•    Recipients and their families are encouraged to consult a tax professional if needed

 

SECTION 5 - DISQUALIFICATION


An applicant or recipient may be disqualified at any stage of the process for any of the following reasons:
•    Providing false, misleading, or inaccurate information in the application
•    Submitting falsified or altered documents
•    Failure to submit required documents within the specified deadline
•    Failure to meet eligibility requirements
•    Misconduct or inappropriate behavior toward the organizing team
•    Failure to confirm acceptance of the grant within the specified deadline
•    Any other reason deemed appropriate by the Dator Youth Initiative organizing team at its sole discretion


SECTION 6 - PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION


6.1 Data Collection
•    The Dator Youth Initiative collects personal information from applicants solely for the purpose of administering the Seeds of Learning Grant
•    Information collected includes name, address, contact details, school information, and financial information


6.2 Data Use
•    Collected information will be used only for the purpose of evaluating applications and disbursing grants
•    Information will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party without the consent of the applicant or parent or guardian
•    Exception: The organizing team may verify enrollment information directly with the applicant's school

 

6.3 Data Storage
•    All application data will be stored securely and accessed only by authorized members of the organizing team
•    Data will be retained for a period of one year after the close of each grant cycle and then securely deleted

 

6.4 Consent
•    By submitting an application the applicant and parent or guardian consent to the collection, use, and storage of their personal information as described above

 

6.5 Photos and Testimonials
•    The Dator Youth Initiative may request permission to use photos, names, or testimonials of selected recipients for promotional and reporting purposes
•    This is entirely voluntary and will never be a condition of receiving the grant
•    A separate consent form will be provided to recipients who agree to participate

 

SECTION 7 - GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 

7.1 No Guarantee
•    Submission of an application does not guarantee selection for the grant
•    The Dator Youth Initiative makes no representations or warranties regarding the likelihood of selection


7.2 Right to Modify or Cancel
•    The Dator Youth Initiative reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Seeds of Learning Grant program at any time and for any reason
•    In the event of cancellation no grants will be disbursed for the affected cycle

 

7.3 No Liability
•    The Dator Youth Initiative, its organizers, volunteers, and representatives are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from participation in the grant program
•    The Dator Youth Initiative is not responsible for any technical issues, delays, or failures in the application portal

 

7.4 Governing Law
•    This grant program is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines
•    Any disputes arising from this program shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Antipolo, Rizal

 

7.5 Amendments
•    The Dator Youth Initiative reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time
•    Amended terms will be posted on www.roandator.com and will be effective immediately upon posting

 

7.6 Acceptance of Terms
•    By submitting an application the applicant and parent or guardian acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions of the Seeds of Learning Grant program
•    Applicants who do not agree to these terms should not submit an application
